Moonfest market

Five days of markets at Tianmu over the moonfestival weekend were spoiled a little by some rainy weather during the first few days, but things came good in the end. There was some good entertainment at times which helped draw people in. Without wanting to sound like a whinger, the presence of the unimaginative nightmarket style cheap poor quality clothing stands detracted from the feel of the event, and will make it more difficult for the Tianmu creative market to establish for itself a reputation among marketers interested in this kind of event. I realise that those people were part of a separate market but the public wouldn't be aware of this. We would like to say a special thank you to 孟育 who was always helpful and always smiling, even when things weren't going smoothly.
悠閒浪漫的中秋佳節氣氛，瀰漫在這星期的天母藝術市集之間，數次突如其來的雨差些壞了這花好月圓，以及這難得與好攤友們分享軍情和感情交流的好時節!
這回陣容龐大的主辦單位，為了壯大聲勢，集結了許多乏善可陳，又了無新意的攤販;唉~大家卡位搶錢的意圖還真明顯呢!
雖說天下有錢大家賺，咱們各憑本事，但貴格和珍妮，卻對雷聲大雨點小的主辦單位為這次天母中秋市集所做的安排和活動，還真的頗失望呢~

好佳在，新舊好友的到訪，戰友們的互助相愛及打氣，穿插偶有驚喜的陶笛表演和民俗表演，我們大家對一直未出現的神祕ICRT DJ也就沒那麼耿耿於懷啦~

在此，貴格和珍妮要特別感謝辛勤的天母市集義工孟育，因為你和所有義工的熱情努力，讓天母市集更加有希望唷!

SATURDAY - HSIMENDING 9/8(六)西門紅樓

Last Saurday we attended the arts market at the Red Theatre in Hsimending, a new govenment run market. Good crowds, but nothing like the usual mad crush of fashionable (?) young people on the main stip just outside. Some good live music, and an ecclectic bunch of stallholders made for an interesting evening.

車水馬龍的西門町商圈,街頭巷尾依舊充滿著熙熙攘攘,追尋流行創意的年輕族群~

這場北市文化局,持續加持到年底的藝術市集,聚集了一小群有趣搞怪的市集攤友們,和一些也很想出頭天的音樂表演人,混雜著形形色色看熱鬧的人群...真是喧鬧有趣的一天丫

輕鬆舒暢的氣氛,貴格和珍妮在此也結識了不少新好朋友+;->

彷彿也為今年的愉悅早秋帶來一些好兆頭呢~

Eslite and Tianmu last week

Well it was certainly a large market held at Eslite last saturday, but a couple of heavy downpours threatened to put a real dampener on things. Fortunately the weather held up and the large market combined with some live music attracted a good crowd. Even the "illegal" geurilla marketers benifitted from proceedings.

Tianmu was a smaller affair on the sunday, perhaps because of other markets being held elsewhere drawing away a few of the regular stallholders, however once again there was some good live music, and a good crowd of Tianmu locals and visitors alike. Still a young and relatively unkown market, but I think perhaps one with a lot of potential. It needs the support of the market community to be a real success.
九月一日的敦南誠品市集,在預期的熱鬧歡樂氣氛中度過!午後的雷陣雨,雖來得驚人,卻仍舊未能抵擋觀眾對誠品的魅力~
隔天二日,規模較小的天母市集,G&J仍如期地熱情浪漫來參予這個有潛力有意義的,在地藝術市集!
